Update 22 February 2022
The online platform we are using will no longer support our free course. We are sourcing another platform to bring you our most popular course, Introduction to Universal Design.
Introduction to Universal Design is suitable for anyone who has an interest in universal design and inclusive practice. Many people are familiar with the basics, but not everyone understands universal design in the same way. The course covers the classic definition and the 8 goals of universal design as well as stereotyping and diversity. The activities are fun to do and at the end you can print out your certificate of completion. It takes about one hour to complete.
Note: 5 February 2022. Home Coming? Framing Housing Policy for the Future will be discontinued from 28 February 2022 as we develop a new course based on the changes to the 2022 National Construction Code which will include Silver level of the Livable Housing Design Guidelines.
There is more information about housing design and housing design policy in the drop-down menu under Built Environment on the CUDA webpage.
